Everything-But-the-Knitting Sock
Bag
Julip Bags' most popular item...Just add your knitting and go! This handy
sock-knitting tote isn’t simply a bag, it’s an accessorized kit with everything
you need to have all your sock-knitting tools in one place, at home or on the
go!
The top is secured with a drawstring through eyelets and a cordstop to keep
your work stowed safely inside. A removable wrist strap makes carrying this bag
easy, or it can be tucked into a larger bag.
The notions kit includes the following: no-fuss jump ring stitch markers;
darning needle; folding travel scissors or yarn cutter; a crochet hook; and
measuring tape, all neatly contained in a small candy tin, except for the
crochet hook which has its own sewn-in pocket.
Bag measures approximately 9 x 5 x 5.5 inches (23 x 13 x 14 cm), plenty of room
for your sock-in-progress, yarn, notions, and even a finished sock if you’re
already on to your second!
This Sock Bag can be used for other small knitting or crochet projects as well!
Please note, this kit isn’t a “Learn to Knit Socks” item, there are no
sock-knitting instructions included. However, it would be a wonderful present
for the new sock-knitter in your life, a special indulgence for your own
sock-knitting self, or by adding the needles, yarn, and book of your choice, a
fabulous all-in-one gift for a friend or Secret Pal!

The Gabrielle Lace Keeper
Lace…lovely, ethereal and delicate. Those same
qualities are also what makes it vulnerable to snags, pulls and (gasp!) breaking
of the beautiful laceweight yarns so dear to our hearts! So why are we still
tossing it in our knitting bags and hoping for the best?
Enter the Gabrielle: a lace-keeper dedicated to protecting your lace
work-in-progress from the perils of knitting bags and purses. Made
specifically for lace-knitting on a circular needle, the Gabrielle includes two
side eyelets for threading your needles through (to keep stitches safely on the
cord and pointy tips out of the lace) and a drawstring to secure the top…no keys
or stray crochet hooks can threaten your lovely lace now!
At 11x10.5 inches (28x27 cm) the Gabrielle is roomy enough to include a working
ball of yarn, but is also squishable and designed to tuck into a larger knitting
bag, Believe me, your lace will thank you!

Lily Knitting Tote
Julip Bags' style, sass, and
utility combine in the Lily Knitting Tote! This
handy knitting bag has a taupe canvas bag as its base with three roomy pockets
and webbing straps. The Lily is approximately 13 x 9 inches (33 x 23 cm),
secured with a magnetic snap, and has plenty of room for a small-to-medium size
project, extra yarn, and notions. Soft collapsible sides mean it can either
expand for stuffing in more yarn, or fold flat for storage, and Lily is
machine-washable.
Also ideal for crochet or needlepoint projects, this versatile bag would make an
excellent gift or a fabulous addition to your own bag collection…after all,
there’s no such thing as too many knitting bags!

Hannah Knitting Tote
Pockets, pockets, POCKETS...this could be the ultimate knitting tote! This bag
has room for everything…really! The base is a taupe canvas bag with more
pockets than you can shake a knitting needle at…one large pocket that
accommodates your favorite knitting pattern book (even a Rowan magazine!) and
then seven standard needle-length pockets, seven shorter pockets, and two larger
pockets, perfect for scissors, stitch holders, etc. There’s even two interior
side pockets for your water bottles!
The Hannah is approximately 14 x 16 inches (35 x 41 cm) with 11 inch (28cm)-high
handles, secured with a magnetic snap, and can easily accommodate a
medium-to-large project plus extra yarn. Seams are sergered for additional
strength and a professional finish. Soft collapsible sides mean it can either
expand for stuffing in more yarn, or fold flat for storage.
This bag would be ideal for a roadtrip/plane ride/knitting meetup/one-stop-shop
for your project du jour, as it includes a spot for everything you might need!
As either your own bag-to-go or a gift for the mobile knitter in your life, the
Hannah may become your best knitting buddy!

Bunny Spindle Bag
An organized tote for spinning on the go! This spindle-and-fiber tote is
named for my friend Kelli (Knitterbunny) who gave me a wish-list for her ideal
spindle bag!
The top is secured with a drawstring and cordstop to keep your spinning stowed
safely inside. The strap can be worn over the shoulder, tied off to carry over
the wrist, or the included clip can attach to a belt loop. The interior features
a generous pocket to keep your spindle contained, but it’s close enough to your
fiber to prevent the drafting from pulling apart. Seams are sergered for a
professional finish and durability.
Bag measures approximately 12 x 5 x 5.5 inches (30 x 13 x 14 cm), the photos
show over two-and-a-half ounces of fiber in the bag, and quite a bit more could
be stuffed inside! It is shown with an 11" (28cm) tall Schacht spindle, if you
have a taller spindle please Convo me, I may be able to make one custom for you,
depending on fabric availability.
This bag would be an excellent gift for a new spinner, to carry your own
fabulous work-in-progress, or by adding fiber, a spindle, and book of your
choice, a wonderful learn-to-spin gift for a friend or Secret Pal!

Spinners' Sailor Bag
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! Oh wait a minute…we’re
talking about spinning sailors, not knitting pirates! Well...if the laceweight
singles keeps snapping, the bottle of rum may come in handy after all!
Except for the designer fabric and luscious fiber from your stash, this bag
reminds me of a smaller version of the one returning sailors carried over their
shoulders as they disembarked. Approximately 18x13 inches (46x33 cm), the
interior is a duck cloth, and the top is cinched with a heavy-duty drawstring
and cordstop. There is plenty of room for your biggest spinning projects.
Toss that plastic bag and stow your merino in style matie! Aye, 'tis the
spinner's life for me!

Dog Walk Companion Bag
Any responsible dog owner knows that going for a walk also means bringing
along a plastic bag (or two) to clean up after our four-legged friends. Usually
that also means we spend the rest of our walk with a used plastic bag dangling
oh-so gracefully from our wrist!
No longer! The Dog-Walk Companion bag allows you to be eco-minded and to set a
good example by cleaning up after your pup, but includes a bit of style and
discretion at the same time…I find them especially useful for walks to our local
outdoor ice cream parlor!
This bag has been Scotchguarded inside and out to repel stains, is 100% machine
washable, and is designed to allow you to easily tuck those used plastic bags
inside for disposal later. It is pliable enough to slip or fold into a pocket
until needed, and sits neatly on your wrist afterwards.
Seams are sergered for a professional finish and durability, the measurements
are approximately 7 x 5 x 5.5 inches (18 x 13 x 14 cm)..
This bag comes with three waste bags to get you started, but I do encourage you
to recycle your plastic shopping bags for this purpose if you don’t already.
This fun-yet-practical bag would be a wonderful gift for a new puppy-parent, or
to make your own walks in the park a bit more sassy! Just remember, being a
responsible pet owner doesn’t mean you can’t do it in style!

Amanda Sock Keeper
The second of the Keeper series, this Amanda sock bag
(available in both circular needle and DPN designs) has a drawstring closure,
plenty of room for your sock in progress, a ball of yarn or two. The
circular needle version comes with the side eyelets to keep the needles away
from your yarn and sock, while the DPN version comes with a DPN holder tube.
Magic loop version coming soon!
At 11.5 x 8 inches (29x20 cm) the Amanda will neatly
slide (or conveniently squish) into a larger knitting bag, purse, or even a desk
drawer if you knit at work! It would also be great as a gift for a Secret Pal or
a friend new to knitting, especially with packaged with some luscious hand-dyed
yarn and (for those you REALLY love) maybe some Addis too?

Dana Sweater Keeper
The final of the three Keepers series, the Dana Sweater
Keeper is made specially for Julip Bags fans who knit more sweaters than socks!
The largest Julip Bag to date, this roomy tote can easily accommodate your
work-in-progress...multiple balls of yarn...your
needles...notions...patterns...and maybe even a pink-sweater-wearing Chihuahua
or two! Who knows?
As with her other two Keeper sisters, the Dana includes two side eyelets for
threading your needles through (to keep stitches safely on the cord and pointy
tips out of your knitting) and a drawstring to secure the top. Needle
eyelets accommodate up to U.S. #10.5 needles. Proud and loud at 18x17
inches (46x43cm) the Dana can handle whatever you stuff into it...sweaters,
afghans, or twenty pairs of socks-in-progress!

Katie Card Corset
Put a little bit o' sexy back in your purse with the
Katie Card Corset...now you can say that even your business cards have their
sassy pants on! Convenient to carry at 4x2.5 inches (10x7 cm), the front
laces up with a ribbon through nickel eyelets and is finished off with a bow.
Ooh la la!
But because a playful exterior is only half the fun without a surprise inside,
this item comes with a bonus: ten Ravelry Username cards! Never again will you
have to write down your Rav username on the back of a crumpled old receipt for a
new knitting pal, just whip out one of these cards and you're good to go! Not on
Ravelry? I can personalize your cards with your blog address or any other form
of "I Knit Here" that you prefer.
The Katie Card Corset would be a perfect little Secret Pal or swap partner gift,
and is definitely a conversation starter...a conversation that begins with "My
name on Ravelry is..."
(Please note that this is not official Ravelry.com merchandise, although
Julip Bags has been given permission to use Ravelry's trademarked name for this
item.)
